The Bio Sensor Program

Back in August an Agility friend spoke to me about the benefits of the Bio Sensor Program or 'Super Dog Program', which she uses on her litters, subsequently I have had someone else in the agility world ask if I was going to use it - to which I answered 'yes'!

The Bio Sensor Program was developed by the U.S Military for their dogs and initially consists of stimulating the few senses the pups are born with once a day for no-more than 5 seconds in a way which would not naturally occur in nature; by kick starting the neurological system early, there is the potential for increased capacity and more confident, trainable pups with a 'superior advantage' to others.

After the pup's weigh ins I have tickled their toes, held them upright, upside down and on their backs and placed their feet on a cold towel before promptly returning them back to a confused Hex who can't understand why, when we are usually so concerned by the pups crying, are we upsetting them?

From day 3 (when we started) the pups have all behaved differently and are fairly consistent each day with their own behaviours and which exercises they prefer and which they object to.

I will try and get some pictures during the next 'puppy torture', if you would like to learn more about the program, the following article makes for a very interesting read and also talks about the research which was done on human children (nice to have human testing for once!):
